The Gorge Progressive Democrats chapter is being organized to mobilize voters in our region in order to recruit and elect candidates to public office at the local, state and federal level who share the progressive vision as identified in PDA's Five Priorities:

• End the War & Redirect Funding
• Health Care for All
• Economic Justice
• Clean, Fair and Transparent Elections
• Stop Global Warming

Toward that end, we will work both within and outside of the Democratic Party and its official bodies, coalescing with peace, justice and other movement groups, and coordinate with PDA, its constituent chapters and leadership teams.

Our first order of business will be a membership drive and organizational process which is inclusive, open and transparent, reflecting both the local character of our region and our shared goals with PDA as a whole.  We will then be ready to formally seek recognition as a PDA chapter and join in common action to achieve that shared vision.
